100 DAYS OR $100K

My name is Dope Chief and for the next 100 days  I'm not eating. I will only be consuming water, and essential minerals.

No coffee, tea, no food.       

My goal is to make $100,000 through selling my art.

 My reason is because I want to keep creating.

However If I can't support myself through making it then I'll quit art and close my studio.

But if you asked me on a deeper level why I'm doing this, Id say, so I can continue supporting 

the community of over a dozen different creatives that call Dope Chief Studios home.

For over 4 years I have opened my studio space to emerging artists without asking for

any form of financial compensation, no percentage of sales, no fees, nothing. The only thing I ask is that if you're a member you show up for yourself and your craft. I know first hand how difficult it is to find community

and grow as an artist when you're starting up. I want to keep giving talented artists a place to start.

Not being able to afford studio space should not be the barrier for an artists creativity.

This project is to show the world that as an artist, creating matters more to me than consumption.
